1. PLASTCOMPANY impressed with BOY innovations at Plastpol

This year’s Plastpol in Kielce, which took place from 19 to 22 May, marked not only the trade fair’s 30th anniversary but also the 10th anniversary of 1.PLASTCOMPANY. In Hall 3, Booth B03, the company presented forward-looking solutions from its long-standing partner BOY, which met with great interest from trade visitors.

Three machines were showcased at the booth, impressively demonstrating the innova-tive strength of the company and its partner BOY. The focus was initially on the BOY XS E, the most compact model in the series, which is regarded as a leader in the field of micro and small-part injection moulding.

In addition, two further machines were on display, both of which had made their debut the previous year. The BOY 20 E PRO, the successor to the BOY 22 A PRO, impressed with its energy-efficient servo drive, the modern Procan ALPHA® 4 control system and its extremely compact footprint of just 1.8 m².

The third highlight was the BOY 100 Electric, the largest model in the electromechanical series. It impressively demonstrated the advantages of electromechanical injection moulding technology: reduced cycle times through parallel movements, highly dynamic injection processes, high repeatability and precise motion sequences.

The industry is currently operating in an extremely challenging economic climate. Despite this, this year’s trade fair proved to be very productive and exceptionally valua-ble from a business perspective. The focus was on numerous technical discussions, including a significant number of new business contacts with customers specifically seeking comprehensive and modern technological solutions.

This once again demonstrated that, in particular, the ability to offer comprehensive sup-port and a broad portfolio of solutions is a decisive factor for success in the current market environment.

“Despite the growing trend toward smaller local industry events, trade fairs still remain an essential platform for annual meetings with long-term customers, strengthening business relationships, and presenting new technologies. Further development of the plastics processing industry will only be possible through the commitment of the entire sector, as well as the ability of suppliers to adapt flexibly to the current economic envi-ronment” that is the conclusion reached by Przemysław Przybyła, Head of Machinery Division Poland.
