Extruders can be equipped with single and multicomponent gravimetric dosing systems to stabilize the througput. Significant savings can be achieved especiialy at pipes extrusion thanks to stabilization of the meter weight of the pipes. That can be amplified by continuous control of other pipes parameters such as wall thickness, diameter, ovality, etc.
