KraussMaffei KMD-xx-K/P conical twin screw extruders and co-extruders for extrusion and co-extrusion of profiles with microprocessor control. Screws with internal tempering are made from nitriding steel with high surface hardness and with molybdenum wear resistant layer on the screw flights, are combined with air cooled deep-nitrided barrels for excellent sliding properties and minimal wear.
